I hate budgeting. I don’t like telling myself that I can’t do something because I don’t have the money for it. It’s not fun… but it’s necessary. I’ve been studying a lot about living a little more frugally. Everyone has that friend (or parent, or a wife- wives are the worst) that is ridiculously frugal. For me, it’s my mother-in-law. She’s incredibly frugal. When I was dating my wife, some of the things I saw were outlandish. Now that I own a home, have 2 children, and manage a budget, I know that she wasn’t crazy- she was (and still is) a genius. The decisions she makes, seamlessly, are always in regards to saving a little money here and there.
